321. Nitya Gopal Bandyopadhyay (1923-1973), 322. Nitya Gopal Bhattacharya

Nityagopal Bandyopadhyay was born in a village Bandbila of Jessore in 1923. His father was a freedom fighter.In his student life he took the leadership in the strike of   Antiwar movement in Krishnanagar. He then joined in Communist Party of India.He was elected secretary of Bus workers Union in 1945. He became wounded in the firing by the police to conduct a rally in the Rasid Khan day. As a result his one leg had to be removed by operation.

Nityagopal Bhattacharya  was born in Chittagang. He was going to take revenge against the British Police for hanging Surya Sen and entered in a military camp to kill the officer. But he died instantly by the bullet of a security officer.
