371. Pratima Pal , 372. Pratul Gangopadhyay (1894-1957)

Pratima Pal was the daughter of the patriot Atal Behari Pal. With blessings of  her father she joined in Jhansir Rani of Netaji in her early age She was promoted to Lieutenant for her capability. She first saw Netaji on 2nd July 1943..

Pratul Gangopadhyay was born in Chaltabari village inChandpur in 1894. He started his life as a revolutionary being a student member of Anusilan Samity.He was sent to Andaman in 1914 being convicted in Barisal conspiracy Case.He was released in 1924 and was again arrested to keep as a state prisoner.till 1928. In 1927 he was sent to Insein  ( Insein Prison (Burmese: အင်းစိန်ထောင်) is located in Yangon Division, near Yangon(Rangoon), the old capital of Myanmar. It is run by the military junta of Myanmar, theState Peace and Development Council, and used largely to repress political dissidents.
The prison is notorious worldwide for its inhumane and dirty conditions, abusive techniques, and uses of mental and physical torture.
One of its most famous prisoners is the Nobel Peace prize winning human rights activist, Aung San Suu Kyi, who has been confined to Insein on three separate occasions in 2003, 2007 and 2009.Jail in Burma.) 
He presided over the Bangiya Pradeshik Congress session in 1930 and was again arrested and held up for 1938. He became a prisoner in 1940 under DI rule. This time he assorted hungerStarike along with Subhas Chandra Bose and both of them were released on ground of health upto 1946.He was President of Dhaka Jilla Congress Committee and a member AICC.
