276. Dhiresh Chakrabarty (1896-1944), 277. Dhrubaranjan Datta

Dhiresh Chakrabarty was born in 1896 in Faridpur. He was imprisoned as a convict in Faridpur Conspiracy Case in his student life. He then joined in Gandhiji's Non-cooperation movement and founded an Ashram with his colleagues to work in the Congress. He then joined in National Party in 1934. His main work in Congress In Evolution.

Dhrubaranjan was born in 1925 in Burma. He joned in the 1st Batch of officers training course of INA in 1942. When Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose came to Rangoon in 1943, he was his body guard.He was in the same capacity till Feb.1944. After that he went to Imphal Front under the command of A.C.Chatterjee.   On 15th Jan. 1945 he went to recover a secret document with 12 colleagues in North Burma.Netaji instructed them to go to underground when British occuppied Sandley. He was caught red handed by British Police though all his colleagues managed to escape.He was released  from Insen jail in that very year.He became jt. Secretary of INA organisation.
