Naren Ghosh was born in Mymensing in 1905. He lived in Burma for two years as a of Anushilan Samity in 1920s. He was imprisoned for ten years in Inter Provincial Conspiracy Case. He adopted Communism while he was Andaman Jail. After being released became a member of Communist Party.
Naren Das At first he was a member of Anushilan Samity. Then he became a member of the Working Committee of SSP under the leadership of Jayprakash Narayan and was a member of MLC, at present abolished. He was imprisoned for 17 years before and after Independence. He had remain underground several times.
