Prabodh Kumar Biswas was born in In his student life he got initiated in revolutionary hymn. He along with others assassinated DSP Basanta Chatterjee on 30.6.1916. Police arrested him from a mess in Mirjapore street under observation and kept him in Kid Street for 15 days for getting some confessionfrom him.But they were not successful. Thenn he was kept solitary in Presidency jail. From that p0lace he vwas shifted to
Dalanda House, i8n Sri Lanka. He fled away along with Nalini Ghosh by tricks and reached Chandannagar.He also escaped from Guwahati breaking the barricade of the police.Later he was arrested and lived inn.
Prabodh Dasgupta was originally inhabitants of Dhaka. He was founder secretary of Coomilla Abhoy Ashram. He joined in Anushilan Samity at the age of 15. He was colleague of Dr. Nripen Basu and Dr. Suresh Banerjee. He was imprisoned for participating Freedom struggle.He remained in East Pakistan after independence. During Ayub Sahi reign he remained in Jail and 4 and 1/2 years in intern.
