Panchana Palit was in jail for participating in Civil Disobedience Movement. He died in the jail due to severe torture.
Paresh Chandra Chakrabarty was born in Faridpur in 1901.He participated in Salt Satyagraha . Later he joined in the revolutionary group and involved in poiltical dacoity in 1931. He was arrested and while in intern he was tortured to death.
