Debajyoti Burman was born in 1905 in Calcutta. He came in contact with the revolutionaries during his school life. He established, "Jugabani Sahityachakra" and worked revolutionary work behind the screen under the camouflage of a publishing concern.He was imprisoned in 1931 and was released in 1938. After being released he began to edit different magazines. He post graduate eam. in 11 different subjects from Calcutta University. He visited America in 1961 at the invitation of "friends of India". His important work is "Mysteries of Birla House".
