Asit ranjan was born in Sylet on 4.4.1915. He was a freedom fighter and became an activist of revolutionary oranisation in his early years. he sacrificed life and died by hanging till death on 13th March !930 in Rail Dacoity of Habigunge.His the three other comrades were sentenced for life imprisonment , namely, 1. Biraj Mohan Dev, 2. Bidyadhar Saha, and 3. Gouranga Mohan Das.
Ahalya Dasi ( ? - 1948) - was born in north 24-Parganas. She died in police firing during her participation in Peasant's movement. The other female peasants died on the same day by police firing were, Uttami Dasi, Sarojini Dasi, And Batasi Dasi.
