77. Asha Dasgupta, 78. Ashraf. K. M., Dr.

The father of Asha Dasgupta was a sub-judge in the court of British India.Asha and her sister, Makhan, were members of revolutionary organisation. On the intention of picking up a pistol from a elative of a policie officer, both of them entered the house with a bunch of keys. Makhan went away with the wife of the Inspector. Asha remained in the house tretending of doing some sewing work. The she opened the drawer with the keys . With extreme care they handed over the pistol . They avoided of being arrested. 

Ashraf took important responsibility in the movement of Segu tribes against the oppressive tributory prince of Alwar of Rajasthan and conducted the movement in the secular path rendering ineffective the conspiracy of the communal ruler. The British Government had to dismiss the king. Dr. Ashraf  later was known as Marxist.
