60. Abdul Momin (1906-1983). 61. Abdul Sattar (1917-1979)

Abdul Momin was born in Nadia in 1906. Since 20s he devoted himself in organising the workers of Howrah and Calcutta Industrial belt. In 1929 he became one of the best organiser of Jute mill workers strike. He took the leadership of the strike of coachmen in 1930. He joined Communist Party of India in 1931. he became secretary of  Bengal Jute Workers Union in 1938.he was elected general secretary of B.P.T.U.C. He was in jail for several occasions.
Abdul Sattar was born in Chittagang in 1917. he joined the revolutionary party after the end of Chittagang Armoury Raid. He was arrested on 9th Oct 1934, on the charge of giving shelter to  the revolutionaries and for helping them in various ways. He was released on 18th June 1938, after passing through a imprisoned life in different jails. He was a popular leader of workers and peasants movement in Chittagang. He died in an accident in 1979.
