Ashutosh Lahiri was born in Pabna in 1892. He was influenced by M.N.Roy and Bagha Jatin and joined the revolutionary movement.He was in Jail for 10 years in Andaman. In Jail he was influenced by Savarkar and joined Hindu Mahasabha.He became All India secretaryin 1940.He was elected in the cnstituent assembly . He was a good orator.He was a sub-editor of daily Servant and editor of Hindusthan and Keshari.
Ashrafuddin Ahmed Choudhury was born in Tripara.He was a nationalist Muslim leader.He was the Secretary of Bangiya Congress Committee before WWII.After The creation of Pakistan, he joined politics in East Pakistan and became a minister for some time.
