86. Asfak Ullah ( ? - 19.12.1927)
Asfak ullah was a leader of " Hindusthan Socialist Republic Army". He was an activist in the group of Chandrasekhar Azad and Sarder Bhagat Singh. The revolutionaries of this group looted by stopping a mail van in the station Kakori in Uttarpradesh. The Kakori ( Kakori is a town and a nagar panchayat in Lucknow district in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. It is situated 14 km north of Lucknow. More widely known for its kebabs, Zardozi work and Dasheri mangoes, Kakori is also the centre of once flourishing Urdu poetry, literature and the Qadiriya Qalandari Sufi Order. This city came into light of the world history after 9 August 1925 when some Indian revolutionaries forcefully snatched the government's treasury from a train. The incident is called as Kakori train robbery or the Kakori conspiracy case of British period.)
The Kakori conspiracy case started in 1925. As a main culprit of this case Asfak Ullah was hanged till death in Faridabad jail on 19.12.1927.. Moreover, Ramprasad Bismil, Thakur Raosan Sing, and Rajendra Lahiri were also hanged. A beautiful martyrdom was prepared in UP in honour of Asfak Ullah.
