70. Ava De ( ? - 1938),

Ava was in possession of enormous physical strength. She was a freedom fighter with full of lively attitude. He was connected with " Nari Satyagraha Samity". Due to  participation of an illegal  meeting of the Samity she was convicted and convicted to Presidency Jail. She hoisted Indian National flag within the jail campus and shouted slogans, " Jatiya Patakaki Jay", Mahatma Gandhi ki Jay",  along with other state prisoners.  She underwent punishment for defying all the rules of the jail, she was released on Nov 1930. It was settled that she would hoist Indian flag on 26th Jan 1932, at the foot of Octerlony Monument But the police drove the horses in the mob to disperse them. She in a fighting mood faced  them and obstructed them.
.  In the mean time a lady fell under the feet of a horse. She pulled her and took her  outside the groung.As a result she along with others were arrested by the police. In Berhampore Jail she climbed a jackfruit tree and plucked a jack fruit . As a punishment she was transferred to Presidency jail. She was released after six months rigorous imprisonment. She Kalyani Das inside the jail. After being released she joined the revolutionary organisation " Chatri Sangha". She was ghe treasurer of enough illegal money. She was unique in all types of sports activities. She died of Beriberi.
