Mrinal Kanti Roychoudhury was imprisoned in Deuli jail for participation in freedom struggle. He was tortured both phyically and menatlly there. As a result he committed suicide.
Mrinalini Chattopadhyay was born in Hederabad. Her father was Aghor Nath Chattopadhyay. She was the younger sister of Sarojini Naidu. She obtained Tripos from Cambridge University. She helped her brother, revolutionary Birendra Nath for freedom struggle of India in Germany.
