514. Bhairab Majhi , 515. Bhogeshwari Phooknani,,516. Bholanath Chattopadhyay (1894-1916)

Bhairab Majhi was Bhagnadihi, Santal Pargana.He was the brother of the two leaders of Santal Rebellion, Sidhu and Kanu. He sacrificed his life in the straight fight with the British army in Santal Rebellion near Bhagalpur.


Bhogeshwari Phooknani was a house wife in Assam. She died in 42 August movement in police bullet.


Bholanath was born in Tarakeshwar, Hooghly.He was a membe of Anushilan Samity. At the age of fourteen, under the direction of his leader he went to Penang and worked amongst the coolies.He came to Calcutta during WWI in November 1914 and began preparation of armed revolution against British rule.He contacted with Germany for bringing arms. At the instruction of Bagha Jatin he went to Goa, occupied by Portuguese, to collect information about Manabendranath in 1915 and made a telegram . But he was arrested at the instruction of the police . He was kept confined by Rule III in Pune jail in 1818. Police made inhuman torture on him to gather information about the revolutionaries. As a result he died in the lock up.
