511. Bhupesh Chandra Nag (1882-1938), 512. Bhushan Chandra Jana (1910-1942)

Bhupesh Chandra Nag was born in Bardi, Dhaka. He was one of the colleague of Pulin Behari Das. He had strong will power and Physical strength. He was among the 9 who were deported from Bangla .
(On 16 Dec. 1908, Govt. of India issued orders for deporting the following nine Bengalee Hindus,
1.Aswini Kumar Dutta
2.Krishna Kumar Mitra
3. Satis Chatterjee
4. Subodh Mallik
5. Monoranjan Guha Thakurta
6. Shamsundar Chakraborty
7. Pulin Behari Das
8. Bhupesh Chandra Nag
9. Sachindra Prasad Basu.)
The "report of the Governemnet of Eastern Bengal and Assam on deportation" , political branch file no. 706, 1909 , T1B, vol IV, pp 1281-1331,The report dealt with deportation under regulation III of 1818 of Aswini Kumar Datta, Satish Chandra Chatterjee, Pulin Behari Das and Bhupesh Chandra Nag. The report spoke of their activities , political profiles, and place in Terrorist Activities.
The Dhaka Anushilan Samiti soon overshadowed its parent body in Calcutta. It spread to the other districts of East Bengal and by 1932 it had 500 branches. Its rapid growth and premier position was due to the organising ability of Pulin Bihari Das. Bhupesh Chandra Nag of Barodi (Dhaka District) was the most able lieutenant of Pulin Bihari Das and took his place when Pulin was arrested.


Bhushan chandra Jana was born in , Peikpara, Midnapore.. During Quit India Movement, when they wanted to attack Sankarada Bridge Police station he became wounded in police bullet and died on the very day.
