North Bengal tour by Nazrul

In the mean time ovation for Nazrul was started in different places of Bengal. At the end of 1928, Nazrul was out for a tour in North Bengal.On 26th November he joined the Annual meeting of Hargacha Tarun Sangha. Nazrul was accorded a warm Welcome at the Rangpur Railway Station.
Maulabi Habibur Rahman presided over the meeting of Hargacha Tarun Sangha. The number of days Nazrul stayed in Hargacha , it became full of songs and recitation by Nazrul.
On 16th dxec Nazrul joined Annual Function of Muslim Club of Rajsahi on 17th Dec.
Said Badrujjadaza accompanied Nazrul. The Muslim Students of Rajsahi had prepared a huge arrangement of Welcoming address of Nazrul. In the meeting thousands of ordinary people had come. A felicitation paper was handed over to Nazrul. In reply to that Nazrul delivered a heartily lecture and sung beautiful songs.
On the next morning, 18th Dec,, Nazrul met with Akshoy Kumar Datta, writer of "Sirajudollah", and the poet Rajanikanta Sen. Both of them discussed closely about lyrics . A mammoth welcome address in Rajsahi town under the presidency of the President of Town Congress Mahendra Kumar Chaudhury. There were huge attendance of public.
 More than 2000 ladies were present. The songs sung by Nazrul moved the audience.
Nazrul returned to Calcutta after finishing his tour in Rajsahi..
