659. Ramkrishna, 660. Ramkrishna Chakrabarty , 661. Ramkrishna Das

Ramakrishna was a member of Gadar revolutionary team of South -East Asia. He was arrested for attempting revolutionary ideas among the soldiers posted in Singapore. He was sent to Andaman in 1915.The jail authority tried to snatch away his sacred thread. To protest this attitude of the authority he resorted to hunger strike in 1919 and died after three months.

Ramkrishna Chakrabarty was born in Dhalghat, Chittagong. He was an active member of revolutionary organisation. He jailed as a rigorous prisoners in 1932 for giving shelter to two revolutionaries of Surya Sen. While he was in Midnapore jail he was tied with chains in his hand and feet.He died in that jail due to attack of TB disease. His mother Shanti Devi was in the same jail for same reason. But she was not allowed to see her dieing son by the authority.


Ramkrishna Das was born in Midnapore. He participated in salt Satyagraha and was wounded by police bullets and died on the very day.
