431. Bijan Sen 432. Bijoy Kumar Hore (1912- ?)

Bijan Sen was born in Natore, Rajsahi. He was arrested in connection with the case  of Putia Mail Dacoity and was exiled in Cellular Jail of Andaman. After ptition of India he stayed in East Pakistan.He was shot dead  by the police in Khapra Ward of Rajsahi jail.

Bijoy Kumar Hoare was born in Manik Gunge, Dhaka. He had a connection with Anushilan Samity.While he was a student, he was a front ranking leader of All India Students' Federation. He was the General Secretary of the Conference of Students' and Youths' held in Jalpaiguri while he was a student in Rajsahi  College. He took important roles in all the struggle of Congress including freedom movement.He organised students and youths for different secret organisations for training in arms fighting, increase of physical strength by excercise to participate in the armed revolution. For taking actions  against the Raj he was jailed in Jalpaigury  and then shifted to Dumdum additional jail. He then was sent to Hijli Jail from Minapore.While in jail he was attracted in the ideals of Communism. He left the idea of armed revolution and joined in Communist Party.He didnot participate in 1942 movement and began working in the programme of Commmunst Party.He was suffering in different types of ailments while living in his Salt Lake House in the form of a ship. but he didnot gave up political discussion . he was married to Anima Hoare, elected M.L.A in 1967. She worked inthde field of teagarden workers union and in the rehabilitation of the refugees.
